Hats off to Hamilton City Council and HEB Construction.
Last week Hamilton City Council hosted infrastructure and asset managers from the Waikato councils at the new Waikato River bridge to the Peacocke site. The bridge will be a critical piece of infrastructure connecting Hamilton East with the new community in Peacocke, in the south of the city. The new connection has resulted in what might be the most impressive Waikato River bridge yet. We enjoyed hearing the construction insights and anecdotes, not only the engineering stories but also the social and environmental impacts which will leave a proud legacy for the city.
